Im nervous, excited, ready. We had a PR gig at Belvedere Plantation last weekend, went great. I was apprehensive with encounters but then again we were kinda shoved off to the side away from everyone. So I had plenty of time to think about it. Entertained a kid for nearly and hour with 9 mans morris, his name was Nicholas, he was awesome. Thats what its all about I told myself. When I remember great patrons not wondering if anyone remembered me.
My bodice was finished in the nick of time, Thanks Debbie. Lots of people said I looked great! I feel confident with my costume which is odd. Usually im wondering if anything non period is showing or that I have too much stuff on or im uncomfortable. My new bodice is perfect so I can move freely and I have a plan of action for everything in my basket and on my belt. Im walking entertainment.
I've got down some great stories so I have the comfort of jumping in when there is a dead silence. Im working on Kaylas costume (my 3 year old) shes awesome I hope to have her by my side. She makes for great comedy. My son can join when he kicks that diaper thing.
My Husband has never been to a faire can you believe that?! His first faire day will be Opening day for VARF on May 19th. Im so excited for him. Its so annoying trying to explain faire to someone when it needs to be seen to be believed. He doesnt really get it when I tell him even when he saw me in costume this past weekend he said "whats all that stuff on your belt thingy?" hahaha I gotta go honey.
We have one more weekend of rehearsal then Dress Rehearsal weekend. I will miss a day of Dress Rehearsal I have Streetfest in Princess Anne Maryland on Mothers Day with my friend Debbie Farrow's Group Historic Expeditions http://www.historicexpeditions.com that will be cool. Then dadaDAAAAA VARF Opening Weekend! Come on Down Everybody ends June 17th.

We will absolutely be at VARF this season!!!
